The Performing Arts Academy was established in 1998 to address the needs of the whole child: dance, vocal and dramatic instruction, discipline, self-confidence, self-awareness, physical fitness, etiquette, broadened cultural opportunities and performance experience.

Because our instructors are experienced both as educators and professional artists. They are dedicated to sharing their time and talents with the students. Performing Arts Academy provides a positive and encouraging atmosphere for both the serious student wanting a career in the arts and the student taking just one or two classes for pleasure.

Our students appear on stages throughout Kansas City and are accepted by audition to intense summer dance programs across the country. Performing Arts Academy has four performing dance groups that are in demand at local attractions and special events and a newly created vocal performing group, Harmony.
